He rose quickly within the company thanks to his adept handling of complex financial transactions and strategic initiatives. He then ventured into private equity, becoming the Director of Investments at a prominent firm where he managed high-stakes deals in the telecom and retail sectors. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to establish the Kazakhstan Hong Development Fund, a $400 million investment partnership that combined resources from leading Hong Kong investors and the Kazakh government.
With a keen interest in media and content production, Daniyar founded Arai Media and Arai Production, swiftly turning it into one of Kazakhstan's most successful private TV content producers. After selling this business, he acquired Basel Insurance and engaged in a successful real estate development venture with Everest Capital Management. Today, he remains the sole shareholder of Basel Insurance, overseeing its strategic development and expansion.
